google.com
This
site is very popular, very useful, and is the largest search engine
on the Internet. It was started by people at Stanford University,
and is now at the forefront of the search engine industry.
hearthehype.com
This
is a business that I recently started. I create websites and promote
them for actors, models, musicians, dancers, and anyone else in
the Entertainment Industry. Check it out when you get a chance.
You'll get to see the demo reels and vocal samples of tomorrow's
stars.
hoaxbusters.org
Some
people just have way too much time on their hands (creating and
sending out hoaxes). This site lets you know whether or not that
email that you received from your friend which says that you may
have a virus, or that Bill Gates is giving away free money if you
send out a mass email (yeah...that'll happen...), is a hoax. 9 times
out of 10 it is, but go here just to be sure.
hotwire.com
This
is a cool site when it comes to getting the best deal on flights,
hotels, rent-a-cars, etc.
Just
enter your info, and it will tell you the lowest possible fare.
It won't tell you which airline, hotel, or whatever, but they only
deal with the major, well-established companies. So, there is no
need to worry. You are not obligated to buy it, but they quote that
they give you is only good for two hours.
NOTE:
I usually compare prices between this and qixo.
There have been times when each has beaten the other.
howardforums.com
If
you have any questions about cell phones, coverage of the providers
in certain areas, or anything else on the subject of mobile communication,
go here. The people who frequent this forum are really, and I do
mean really, into cell phones. Just post your question, and you'll
get your answer pronto.
Internet
Movie Database
This
is the largest database for movie facts on the Internet. If you
want to find out anything about a any movie, actor, director, etc.,
this is the place to go.
kartoo.com
This
is a very cool video game-type search engine. Words can not do it
justice. So, if you want to know what it really is, go there, and
you will see what I am talking about.
mail2web.com
If
you need to check your email, but you are not at your computer,
then go here. Just type in your entire email address and your password,
and you can read your email, as well as send email. Pretty sweet.
imdb's
movie trailer search
If
you can't find the trailer that you are looking for at apple.com's
movie trailers, search for it here.
apple.com's
movie trailers
Apple,
maker of the Macintosh computer and Quicktime software, has all
of the new movie trailers, and a lot of older ones, on this section
of their site. You'll need Quicktime
to view them (of course), if you don't already have it on your computer.
NOTE:
To get to the older trailers, scroll down to the bottom of the
page, and click on the studio links.
