Is your keyboard on your Macbook suddenly not working or acting strange?

Mac, Tips and Tricks

Is your keyboard not typing the keys that you are hitting, and some keys do type something but the type numbers and symbols from a calculator (namely the U,I,O,P,:,L,K,J,M,< ,>./ keys?)

There is a simple fix for this…

It simply means that your “num lock” is on. Hit your F6 key on your Macbook (it’s the key in the top row of your keyboard in the middle), and you should be good to go! If your keyboard on your Macbook is just not typing anything, then take it into the Apple Store, as it is most likely a hardware problem.
