Well, there is an easy fix for this.  <\/p>\n<p>Here it is:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong>  The Speech and Handwriting Recognition features of Microsoft Office XP<\/p>\n<p><strong>Solution:<\/strong>  Uninstall them<\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructions<\/strong> (for Windows XP)<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>START>CONTROL PANEL>Add\/Remove Programs\n<\/li>\n<li>Select Microsoft Office XP and click the &#8220;Change&#8221; button\n<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Add or Remove Features&#8230;&#8221; should be selected; click NEXT\n<\/li>\n<li>Click the &#8220;+&#8221; sign next to &#8220;Office Shared Features&#8221;\n<\/li>\n<li>Click the &#8220;+&#8221; sign next to &#8220;Alternative User Input&#8221;\n<\/li>\n<li>Click the disk icon with the down arrow next to &#8220;Speech&#8221; and select the red X, &#8220;Not Available&#8221;\n<\/li>\n<li>Do the same for &#8220;Handwriting&#8221;\n<\/li>\n<li>Click the &#8220;Update&#8221; button at the bottom of the window\n<\/li>\n<li>After it does its thing, click &#8220;Finish&#8221; or &#8220;Close&#8221; or whatever it says to close the window\n<\/li>\n<li>Done!\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ianbrowncc.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/cicerouiwndframe.jpg\" onclick=\"window.open(this.href, '_blank', 'width=489,height=284,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0'); return false\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Cicerouiwndframe\" src=\"http:\/\/ianbrowncc.typepad.com\/site\/images\/cicerouiwndframe.jpg\" width=\"100\" height=\"58\" border=\"1\"\/><\/a><br \/><font size=1>(click to enlarge)<\/font><\/div>\n<p>The next time you shut down, it may give you the message one more time, but after that, you should be good to go.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Is CiceroUIWndFrame not allowing you to shut down your computer without you having to manually click &#8220;end task&#8221;?
